Microsoft BUILD 2013 - Aftermath

Below are a sampling of the responses to BUILD 2013 and especially Windows 8.1.

Few of the people taking a serious look at what was at BUILD 2013 were pleased.

The average response seems to be: "Well at least it's not worse".

I wrote my take here. Microsoft has given Google and Apple an excellent opportunity to take away desktop computing market share. The OEMs that have been very interested in ChromeOS and Android, are likely to be very happy they hedged their bets this holiday season.
