Strange, Possibly Humorous News

There has been a lot of strange news over the last week.

These first two go together. I'm not sure that the fact it came from an ex-employer makes it better.

NTP is "new tab page". Someone apparently wanted Chrome to look like Windows 8's start page. This is both strange and funny.
